Cuba Maintains Watch after Seism

Cubasi.com Jan 13.- Cuban authorities maintain watch over the possible aftershocks or sea-level rises in the eastern end of the country, after the 7.3 degree –quake in the Richter scale that hit Haiti.

So far, there’s no report about sea-level rise in any coastal point of Santiago de Cuba and Guantánamo provinces, specifies a communiqué from Cuba’s Civil Defense National General Staff.

Right now, local authorities continue gathering information about the affectations caused by the quake in Haiti, indicates the note released by the National Television Newsreel.
