Cuba Intl Book Fair Closes

Santiago de Cuba, Mar 8 (Prensa Latina) Cuba's 19th International Book Fair closed in this eastern city, after touring the island with its well welcomed doses of knowledge and culture.

The fair in the eastern Cuban provinces since March 3 once again reaffirmed itself as an indispensable event in the Cuban cultural panorama, a space for exchange with the literature of other countries.

Though the main Russian presence as guest of honor was in the initial phase at Havana's Morro-Cabaña Park, the rest of the territories also enjoyed homage to that culture.

Once again, the presentation of new works and conferences were accompanied by fine arts exhibits and musical, drama, and dance shows and events.
