Youth
toward their congress

Palma Soriano, Feb. 2010.- The 9th Congress of the Young Communist
League (UJC), the second political leading organization in Cuba,
will be held in Havana during 3rd and 4th days of next April.
Eight delegates From Palma Soriano will attend this
important event, representing the 4018 UJC members from this territory
and the local young generation.
These young delegates will speak about their dreams,
efforts, projections, experiences and all things they do in this
eastern Cuban region in order to develop this country.
Yoandris
Ginarte, a worker from Camilo Betancourt policlinic had the privilege
of being the first delegate from this territory, while the rest
of the delegates were selected in the UJC Municipal Assembly.
Yaritza Arzuaga, from secundary school Arnaldo Nueva
Paz; Yanet Medina, a scientist from the Sugar Cane Territorial
Research Station; and Marisledis Rosales, a student from Antonio
Maceo High Pedagogical School, will represent Palma Soriano´s
young girls.
Representing the male young peole will attend to
the meeting Yoandri Alvarez from Haydee Santamaria Poligraphic;
Angeslei Lago, from the Basic Units of Cooperative Production
“ Tinajitas”, Edel González fom Giraldo Córdova
Politechnic Institute and Reynol Nuviola, First Secretary of the
UJC in Palma Soriano.
The UJC members from Palma Soriano have new goals
to be reached this year before the 9th Congress of the organization
takes place.
